Most workers’ compensation defense firms treat liens as an afterthought. We don’t.
Our dedicated Lien Unit is a purpose-built team operating inside our defense practice designed to resolve liens faster, reduce exposure, and significantly lower overall claim costs for employers and carriers. This model is still rare in work comp defense, and it exists here because our Founder and Managing Partner, Julie Hall, pioneered a smarter way to handle lien matters without inflating attorney fees.
Traditional lien handling often means attorney heavy billing for work that doesn’t always require an attorney’s rate. Julie Hall recognized that many lien issues can be handled more efficiently, without sacrificing results, by deploying certified professionals under close attorney supervision.
Our solution:
The result? Employers and carriers get aggressive, compliant lien defense at a fraction of the traditional cost.
Our Lien Unit is led by Certified Hearing and Lien Representatives with deep, hands on experience in the workers’ compensation lien world.
We brings:
Our Certified reps work closely with our attorneys to ensure every lien strategy supports the broader defense posture of the case...never in a silo, never on autopilot.
Our Lien Unit is equipped to manage lien matters from intake through resolution, including:
This integrated approach allows us to control lien exposure proactively, not reactively.
Liens are one of the most unpredictable and inflationary aspects of workers’ compensation claims. Without focused management, they:
Our dedicated Lien Unit exists to stop that cycle.
By combining certified lien professionals, attorney oversight, and a defense first philosophy, we deliver:
This isn’t a volume play. It’s a precision one.
Our Lien Unit is fully integrated into our defense practice and aligned with one goal: protecting employers and carriers from unnecessary lien exposure while keeping costs under control.
If you’re looking for a defense firm that treats liens as a strategic priority not an administrative burden... you’re in the right place.
